Register for the “gathering” before September 15, 2011 and you will be entered in a contest in which the winner will receive these great prizes:
*Co-host the live broadcast of BRATCON radio from Kokomo’s on Thursday, Oct. 20!
*Your gathering registration fee waived!

This contest is jointly sponsored by BRATCON radio and OVERSEAS BRATS.
Rules:
-Winner will have to register with OVERSAS BRATS no later than September 15, 2011.
-Winner must be present in Kokomo’s restaurant no later than 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 20 where the drawing will take place.
-Winner will be compensated for the registration fee for them specifically. If they registered as a couple, only part of the registration fee will be refunded. Payment will be made either by check or in cash.

The Crowne Plaza Minneapolis International Airport Mall of America is located at 3 Appletree Square, Bloomington, Minnesota, is offering a discounted rate of $100 a night for king or double beds (single or double occupancy) and $120 for a suite rate. For reservations, call the hotel at: 952-854-9000 or 800-465-4329 and SPECIFY THAT you are registering for the OVERSEAS BRATS ‘silver anniversary gathering,’ and provide them with your arrival and departure dates. Cut-off date for accepting reservations into this room block is Monday, October 3, 2011. Reservations after that date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
The Crowne Plaza Minneapolis International Airport Mall of America offers courtesy shuttle service to/from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport AND the Mall of America.


Event Registration Costs
There are two options for registration: a comprehensive package and pro-rated package.

Comprehensive Package
Includes:
*Friday, Oct. 21 luncheon, Friday, Oct. 21 dinner, Saturday, Oct. 22 dinner, and Sunday, Oct. 23 breakfast.
*Snacks in the hospitality suite beginning Thursday, Oct. 20 through Sunday, Oct. 23.
*Admittance to all sessions and the door prize exhibition and contest.
*Booklet prepared for the event containing a directory of all participants and event activities.
*Entertainment Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings.
*Specially-prepared name badge. (Your admittance to all functions and the hospitality suite.)
Notes:
-Admittance to the hospitality suite requires being a paid registrant for the “gathering.”
-When you purchase the comprehensive package, you do not have to purchase any of the pro-rated meal items listed below because the comprehensive package includes all this.

Comprehensive Package Costs:

Before October 15, 2011 = $177/person or $277/couple.
After October 15, 2011 = $187/person or $287/couple.

Pro-rated Costs:
Friday (Oct. 21) day session (between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.). Includes participation in course sessions, the door prize competition, includes luncheon and snacks provided in the hospitality suite.
Before September 15, 2011 = $35/person.
Before October 15, 2011 = $45/person.
After October 15, 2011 = $50/person.

Friday (Oct. 21) afternoon tour, dinner, karaoke party in the hospitality suite and snacks (between 2:30 p.m. and Midnite.)
Before September 15, 2011 = $65/person or $95/couple.
Before October 15, 2011 = $75/person or $105/couple.
After October 15, 2011 = $80/person or $110/couple.

Saturday (Oct. 22) day events, including day sessions and snacks in hospitality suite (between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.).

Sunday (Oct. 23) breakfast, between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Cancellation Insurance
This is $10/person and when purchased, 100% is refunded minus the insurance fee.

Cancellation Policy For Those Not Taking Out Cancellation Insurance
Before September 15 = 100% refunded.
Before October 15 = 75% refunded
After October 15 = NO REFUNDS.

****SPECIAL FUND-RAISER FOR THE PEOPLE OF JAPAN*****

The tragic earthquake and tsunami in Japan has wrecked havoc on a portion of our OSB family and the Japanese people. Part of being a Brat is overcoming trying times and supporting each other. As part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations we will be seeking donations for the
ultimate recovery of Japan. OSBer, Mayor of White Bear Lake a nearby town) and a Brat from Sasebo, Japan herself will present our donations to "Izumi City, Japan" the Sister City of
Bloomington, MN (our host location) Saturday night of our event. Please help us make a difference!

Dress Code
Dress for all events except for Saturday night is casual. Saturday evening dress: Dressy night or black & white or black and silver to celebrate our silver anniversary.

Thursday, October 20
2 - 4 p.m. - Welcome! Registration begins. Hospitality suite opens. (Apple Terrace Room)
4 - 6 p.m. - Take hotel shuttle to Kokomo's restaurant in the Mall of America.
6 - 7 p.m. ***LIVE Bratcon radio broadcast from Kokomo's restaurant!***
6 - ? p.m. - Dutch treat dinner at Kokomo's restaurant. After the Bratcon
radio show, Q & A session with Dennis Campbell and Pat Glock Caves of Bratcon radio.
When we return to hotel to Midnite: DJ party in hospitality suite. (Apple Terrace Room)

Friday, October 21
8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Hospitality suite open. (Apple Terrace Room)
9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Registration & Brats Store.
9 a.m. - 10: 15 a.m. - Session I: Topic TBA. (With George Junne). (Regent/Waldorf Room)
10:20 - 11:30 a.m. - Session II "Bratman Returns" (With Joe Condrill). (Regent/Waldorf Room)
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Appointments with sponsors and key planners. (Empire Room)
11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. - ***DOOR PRIZE COMPETITION*** (Empire Room) Get the initials of all the commercial sponsors and three new Brat friends on forms (to be provided) to be eligible for some GREAT prizes!
AND SCHOOL SPIRIT contest! Show what is GREAT about your school! We’ll provide a table to those schools/groups that advise no later than October 15 they will participate. (Fly Southwest and they will fly that extra suit case free!)

9 - 10 a.m. - 2.5 mile walk in the Mall of America on path designated by the Mayo Clinic to
celebrate OVERSEAS BRATS 25th anniversary.
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Session III: "Writing Your Brat Memoirs" (With Maureen Sullivan Romagnoli). (Regent/Waldorf Room)
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Session IV: "Building Best Brat Friendships Forever" (With Sunny Taylor
Schwentner and Jeri Polansky Glass). (Note: We will be offering a ‘dutch treat’ luncheon during this seminar. Details are pending.)
1 - 6 p.m. - Break.
1:30 p.m. – Decorating in the Orchard Ballroom. Volunteers needed – please see Sunny.
6 - 6:45 p.m. - Cocktail reception. (In front of McIntosh/Jonathan Room).
