We had a great time at the Southern Nevada Gathering, October 10-13, 2013, in Laughlin, Nevada, and at the OVERSEAS BRATS "Brats Oktoberfest" (aka New Braunfels Gathering) October 2-5, 2014, in New Braunfels, Texas, and at the "Pacific Northwest Gathering", October 1-4, 2015, at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel, Portland, Oregon. So our next annual gathering will be happening in 2017 in Huntsville, Alabama. Details for the 2017 gathering will be announced soon!

HOMECOMING 2019 in New Orleans!
The next all-Brats/all-schools reunion event will be held in 2019 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Details will be announced hopefully in 2017

Starting in 2011, Overseas Brats (OSB) the organization, thought we would incorporate an annual gift-giving project into our annual Gathering each October. It has been met with much support from our Brat community. We are truly moved by your embracement to help others! We are BRATS after all!

In 2011, so many of our fellow Brats who attended school in Japan were extremely moved and devastated by the triple tragedy that impacted their former host country Japan. Many "active duty Brat seniors" still attending school in Japan... had to relocate stateside so they could complete their school year and graduate on time with their peers. We made the American Red Cross in Japan/via our Gathering site's city sister program our Brat Cause recipient this year and raised $2,276.00.

In 2012, we learned of the efforts of Dr. Rick Connell's Ta Touck English School, a village school in Siem Reap, Cambodia. (Rick is a Heidelberg Class of '75 Brat). This particular year we raised $2,526 for the children's school supplies, rain slickers and bicycles with allowed children in remote areas to attend "a" school.

In 2013, we saw our dear friend and visionary, Dr. Tom Drysdale, the founder of the American Overseas School Historical Society (AOSHS), pass away. In Tom's memory we established a Scholarship Fund with AOSHS to be awarded to "active duty Brats." $3,935 was raised.

In 2014, we adopted the Museum of the American Military Family (MAMF) as our "Brat Cause." MAMF celebrates over two centuries of our military family’s contributions -as the family served with the solider! Although the Museum (headquartered in Albuquerque, NM) is currently an online museum, the organization has been gifted seven historic military housing units from the early 1940s and is in the process of fundraising to rehab them. With the help of donations like ours, (we raised $2,247) MAMF will not only be an online presence but have a permanent physical location for all to view, enjoy and learn from.

For 2015, our Brat Cause was "Brat Pack 11" which is run by 17-year-old Brat Kenzie Hall. An active duty Brat, Kenzie was awarded the Army's Military Child of the Year last year. At just 11 yrs old when her father was deployed to Afghanistan Kenzie started a charity called "Brat Pack 11." BP11 (for short) grants wishes to military kids of wounded and fallen soldiers. With "Brat Pack 11" being a budding charity – which has granted a "few" dreams for young Brats – we wanted to help this Brat teen, grant a few more wishes. Kenzie earned a spot at the distinguished “Teens Can Make it Happen Conference” early in the year. We raised $3,156 for this cause, this year, as of the recent October 2015 Gathering.

If you missed the recent October Gathering and would "still" like to contribute to this Cause:
