Get involved with OVERSEAS BRATS this year. The American Overseas Schools Historical Society (AOSHS) will benefit, and you’ll be entered into a contest where the prize is a gift certificate for a vacation valued at $2,700!

Here's how easy it is to participate in this contest!

Join or renew with OVERSEAS BRATS as a standard member ($20/year or $35/2 years) no later than December 15. You'll be entered in the contest giveaway once. Join or renew as a sustaining member of OVERSEAS BRATS ($40/year or $75/2 years), and you'll be entered in the contest giveaway twice.
Attend one of the OVERSEAS BRATS-hosted functions this year, and you’ll be entered into this contest once.

Come to the annual OVERSEAS BRATS national convention for Brats & Educators, and you’ll be entered in the contest giveaway thrice.

On or after December 15, OVERSEAS BRATS will have a drawing to determine the winner of the vacation giveaway contest. The winner will be notified immediately.

This is the eighth vacation/cruise giveaway contest OVERSEAS BRATS has hosted since 1996.

Past winners include:

At "Grand Reunion '96": Marilyn Hicks Fitzgerald (Narimasu HS/Japan'64)
At Homecoming'99: Sandra Hope (Educator who taught at schools in Kubasaki, Kaiserslautern, Yamato, Lakenheath, Asmara, Brindisi, Vicenza, Seoul, and Bad Kreuznach).
The 2002 Cruise Giveaway Contest winner was Kathy Nelson Benedetto (Izmir HS 65-67)
The 2003 Cruise Giveaway Contest winner was Patricia Williams (Berlin HS'66).
The 2004 Cruise Giveaway Contest winner was Pat Collins Miller (Frankfurt’70).
The 2005 Vacation Giveaway Contest winner was Dee Promise (daughter of an Overseas Brat)
The 2006 Vacation Giveaway Contest winner was Sue Datres Baughn (Heidelberg and Mannheim in the early 60's)

Conditions:

1. Conditions are subject to change at any time.
2. Those who are current OVERSEAS BRATS members will be entered into this contest per the above specifications.
3. The winner of this contest will be awarded up to $2,700 reimbursement for vacation/travel in 2006, which must be applied toward vacation or travel between the time of their notification up until December 31, 2006. After December 31, 2006, whatever remains in this prize becomes null and void.
4. To be eligible for the $2,700 reimbursement for vacation or travel, this MUST be done DIRECTLY WITH OVERSEAS BRATS TRAVEL at: www.ytbtravel.com/joeosbpres. OVERSEAS BRATS will send a check for reimbursement.
5. How this works is each time the winner purchases vacation or travel through OVERSEAS BRATS Travel at: www.ytbtravel.com/joeosbpres, OVERSEAS BRATS will send a check for reimbursement.
EXAMPLE #1: Winner purchases two airline tickets through OVERSEAS BRATS Travel that total $600 on January 23, 2006. OVERSEAS BRATS will reimburse the winner $600 upon receipt of the purchase. Winner then purchases an all-inclusive resort package totals $1,945.00 on May 18, 2006 through OVERSEAS BRATS Travel. OVERSEAS BRATS Travel will reimburse the winner $1,945 upon receipt of the purchase. The winner then does not use OVERSEAS BRATS Travel for the rest of 2006, so the balance left (in this case $155) is cancelled.
EXAMPLE #2: Winner purchases a cruise package through OVERSEAS BRATS Travel that totals $3,045.00 on September 16, 2006. OVERSEAS BRATS Travel will reimburse
the winner $2,700 upon receipt of the invoice.
